Governing law jurisdiction (§10) is TBD. We will remove this notice once the terms have been formally reviewed.

Pre-alpha notice: Pixel Dust is pre-release software. Features, pricing, and these terms may change before general availability. By using the app you acknowledge it is provided "as is" and may have bugs, data-loss risks, or sudden changes.

1. Acceptance

By installing or using Pixel Dust ("the app", "the software") you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, uninstall the app.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on your own macOS devices for personal or professional purposes. You may not redistribute, reverse-engineer, or sublicense the app.

3. Pre-alpha nature of the software

Pixel Dust is in pre-alpha. It may:

5. Disclaimer of warranties

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, or loss of profits.

7. Privacy

How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date will reflect any revision. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

[TBD — jurisdiction to be confirmed with legal counsel before GA.] These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is domiciled, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
